Unit 25-1



2025 Ford E-350 Wheeled Coach Ambulance





While carrying our primary colors, this unit, used as Unit 11 for non-emergency transport services, boasts a colorful puzzle pattern in support and honor of Autism Awareness. This is the second unit in our fleet dedicated to bringing awareness and acceptance to a cause.



Unit 24-2



2024 Ford F-550 Ambulance





This unit, used as Medic 40 in the Racine area of the county, proudly displays the ribbons and associated colors of Suicide Prevention and Awareness. While not our typical livery, this unit is a shining example of our commitment to the mental health and wellbeing of our EMS providers, proudly displaying support and showing that no one fights alone.



Unit 24-1



2024 Ford F-350 McCoy Miller Ambulance





This unit, used as Medic 20 in the Danville area of the county, was purchased with the assistance of the Boone County Commission to replace a much older and less reliable unit that was serving the Danville area. Utilizing ARP funding, the commission provided the funding to remount an older ambulance onto a new chassis.

Unit 21-1



2021 Ford F-450 Wheeled Coach Ambulance





This unit, used as Medic 21/CCT 1 in the Danville area of the county, was purchased through funding received from the FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant to replace a much older and less reliable unit that was serving the Danville area.


The replacement for this ambulance is currently on order with Wheeled Coach Ambulances in Winter Park, FL and is tentatively set for delivery in May 2026. Once the new unit is in service, this unit will move into a reserve role, only being utilized when another unit is out of service.



Unit 18-1



2018 Ford F-350 Frontline Ambulance





This unit, used as Medic 60 in the Van area of the county, was the first ambulance to receive our updated graphics scheme. A much needed update to the look of our fleet, every square inch of the graphics design is reflective, improving the safety of our providers while working in high traffic areas in our county.


The replacement for this ambulance is currently on order with Wheeled Coach Ambulances in Winter Park, FL and is tentatively set for delivery in October 2025. Once the new unit is in service, this unit will move into a reserve role, only being utilized when another unit is out of service.



Unit 13-1



2013 Ford F-450 Wheeled Coach Ambulance





This unit, used as Medic 22 in the Danville area of the county, was purchased used out of Virginia to replace a much older and less reliable unit that was in service at the time.
